Water Based Disinfectant

If you have a home, office or a business then chances are you will be using water-based disinfectants in one way or another. Water-based disinfectants are used widely in hospitals and medical facilities for a number of different reasons. They are also used in other areas of society such as schools, restaurants and many other places. This article is going to discuss the different types of disinfectant that are used on various surfaces and why they are used.

The first type of water base disinfectant is chlorine. Chlorine is a very effective chemical and is able to kill bacteria on a fairly large scale. It is generally used on surfaces such as floors, walls and any other surface that have an amount of moisture such as the kitchen floor.

As with chlorine however, chlorine can be harmful to your health as it can actually leave traces of it on your skin and hair. This is why you should only use this type of water base disinfectant on non-porous surfaces. You can do this by making sure your surfaces are properly cleaned before the disinfectant is applied.

The second type of water base disinfectant is bromine. Bromine is an extremely powerful disinfectant and is known to be very effective against a wide range of germs including viruses, bacteria and fungi. It is however not as good at getting rid of other types of bacteria as chlorine.

You should however ensure that the area in question has been treated with a solution that contains bromine in order to kill off any remaining bacteria that may still be present. Bromine is also known to cause some mild skin irritation and burning if you accidentally come in contact with it.

So, now you know exactly what a water base disinfectant is and why they are used widely in various areas. Now it is up to you to decide whether you would like to use one of these disinfectants on your home, office or anywhere else.

There are three main types of water base disinfectant that you can use to disinfect your surfaces. The first being a granulated form of chlorine, which is available in either liquid form or in granules. The second form is an oxidizing agent that is also available in liquid or granular form and is able to kill any remaining bacteria but is also quite toxic.

The third form of disinfectant is a UV disinfectant and is available in granular form. These disinfectants will last much longer than their predecessors, as they do not bleach and discolor and will leave your surfaces much cleaner than with your existing disinfectants.

Once you have decided on a water base disinfectant that suits your needs then you can apply it to your surfaces and get the job done. After you have disinfected them you will find that your surfaces will feel far cleaner and that they will be able to withstand any more abuse that comes your way.
